Privilee and The ENTERTAINER for venues: the alternatives, including SCNE

Privilee and The ENTERTAINER suit different venues. Privilee sells members access to hotel and resort pools, beaches, gyms and classes, with savings at restaurants, bars and lounges, so it fits venues with a pool, beach or gym; The ENTERTAINER is a membership of mostly buy-one-get-one-free offers, so it fits casual dining, cafés and attractions that can carry a 2-for-1. The alternatives include Smiles and SupperClub for dining offers, Portl for nightlife guestlists and tables, and SCNE, where you set your own member offer, its days and times and a monthly limit per member, on a free plan.

What Privilee and The ENTERTAINER ask of a venue

  • Privilee. Members pay Privilee for access to pools and beaches at hotels and resorts, gyms, fitness classes and padel courts, and get savings at restaurants, bars and lounges. For a venue, that means giving members access and selling them food and drink while they are there. We found no page for venues to apply on privilee.ae, which has a Contact us page.
  • The ENTERTAINER. Members buy a yearly membership of mostly buy-one-get-one-free offers on dining, activities, wellness and hotels, and partners give those offers. Its merchant page lists higher footfall, digital advertising, data insights and features in its corporate partners' apps. You apply through its Become a Partner form; it does not publish fees.

The alternatives

  • Smiles (e&). Dine-in vouchers, including buy-one-get-one-free, in an app that also does food and grocery delivery. Its Partner with Smiles page asks businesses to get in touch by email, says terms vary by business type and offer, and promotes partners through in-app banners, notifications and email.
  • SupperClub. A dining and lifestyle membership for top restaurants and five-star hotels: members book offers through SupperClub, with unlimited bookings and unlimited guests. Ask SupperClub about venue terms.
  • Portl. A Dubai social discovery app for nightlife, restaurants and events. Venues launch guestlists, tables, offers, ladies' offers and events, and see who booked, visited and returned. You list through a form on its website.
  • SCNE for Venues. Your venue page, a member offer you set (money off the bill, a 2-for-1 or free entry) on the days and times you choose, with a limit on uses per member each month, events members RSVP to, and a dashboard of redemptions and booking clicks. A free plan with no setup fee; paid plans with more reach on request.
  • Your own guest tools. A reservations system and guest CRM such as SevenRooms or Eat App keeps in touch with the guests you already have. Use one alongside a network that brings new guests.

How to choose

  • You have a pool, beach or gym with spare daytime capacity: an access network such as Privilee, where members come for the facilities and spend on food and drink.
  • You can carry a 2-for-1 on your best sellers: The ENTERTAINER or Smiles, with exclusion days agreed up front.
  • You want to keep busy nights at full price: an offer limited to your quiet days and times, such as an SCNE member offer that runs only from Monday to Thursday afternoon.
  • You run nights, not just tables: a guestlist and table app such as Portl, and your events listed where members RSVP.
  • You want the guest data: your own CRM, alongside whichever network brings new guests.

How to compare any platform before you sign

  1. 1Ask what the member pays and what you give. Is it a yearly membership, a monthly one or a free app, and is your offer a 2-for-1, money off or free entry?
  2. 2Check the controls. Can you choose the days and times the offer runs, and limit how often each member uses it?
  3. 3Ask what you will see. Redemptions, bookings, booking clicks and repeat visits, by offer and by day.
  4. 4Get the cost in writing. Subscription, commission or a fee per booking, any minimum term, and what happens when you leave.
  5. 5Walk through the till. A QR scan, a voucher on the guest's phone or a booking under the member's name: pick what your team can do on a busy night.

Questions about SCNE for venues

Should my restaurant join Privilee or The ENTERTAINER?

It depends on what you sell. Privilee suits hotels, beach clubs and gyms, because its members pay for access to pools, beaches and gyms and spend on food and drink while they are there. The ENTERTAINER suits casual dining, cafés and attractions that can give a 2-for-1. If you would rather keep an offer to your quiet days and times, compare SCNE, where you set the offer, its days and times and how many times each member can use it each month.

Do Privilee and The ENTERTAINER publish what they charge venues?

Not on their websites when we checked on 26 October 2026: The ENTERTAINER's merchant page has a Become a Partner form and no fees, and we found no page for venues to apply on privilee.ae. SCNE has a free plan with no setup fee, and paid plans with more reach on request.

How is SCNE different from The ENTERTAINER for a venue?

The ENTERTAINER's offers are mostly buy-one-get-one-free, for members who buy a yearly membership. On SCNE you choose the offer (money off the bill, a 2-for-1 or free entry), the days and times it runs and how many times each member can use it each month, and SCNE+ members use it in person by showing the QR code on their member card. SCNE also lists your events, which members RSVP to.

What does SCNE cost for a venue?

Venues start on a free plan with no setup fee. Paid plans with more reach, such as featured placements and more listings, are available on request: email partners@scne.ae and the team will talk you through them.

Do I need to connect SCNE to my till or booking system?

No. Your Book button opens the booking system you already use, such as SevenRooms, TheFork, WhatsApp or your website, and offers are recorded when your team scans the member's QR code in the SCNE partner app. There is nothing to install at the till.
