Best Dubai Membership Apps Compared for 2026

By Jordan Cheal, Founder of SCNE

Published · Updated

The Short Answer

The best membership app in Dubai depends on what you want from it. For hotel pools, beaches and gyms, compare Privilee (up to three children included), Viya Access (one-, three- or 12-month passes, including gym-only) and adv+ (the lowest annual price here if you only need a few clubs). For dining and days out, The ENTERTAINER is the long-running 2-for-1 membership, Smiles suits people who already order delivery through it, Cobone and Groupon sell one-off vouchers with no membership fee, and SCNE pairs a free what's-on app with SCNE+ offers at partner venues.

Disclosure: SCNE (SCNE Influence Technologies FZCO) publishes this guide and runs SCNE+, so SCNE is one of the apps compared. SCNE's full launch in Dubai is in November 2026.

Prices checked on 14 October 2026.

Every fact about another company here comes from that company's own website, pricing page or terms (plus one Gulf News report, named where used), linked in each section and under Sources. Prices, offers and venue lists change often, so check the provider's own page before you pay.

These are different kinds of product, so a straight price ranking can mislead: an access pass replaces day-pass fees, a 2-for-1 membership takes part of a bill off, and deal sites charge per voucher.

Privilee

What it is: A membership for pool, beach, gym, class and padel access at partner hotels, resorts and clubs in the UAE. Privilee also runs in Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Singapore.

What you get: Access plus restaurant and spa savings. Annual plans add two water park visits a year (Wild Wadi or LEGOLAND Water Park Dubai), plus two weekday guest passes if paid upfront or in instalments. Up to three children aged 17 and under are included at no extra cost, though child policies vary by venue and some accept fewer children.

Price (checked 14 October 2026): Per adult: AED 1,199 for one month, AED 699 a month on a 12-month plan, or AED 6,948 a year upfront (AED 579 a month). A couple pays double. As listed on privilee.ae.

How it works: You check in through the app and staff scan your QR code. Many venues need a booking (from 8pm the night before), and entry is first come, first served.

Best for: Families, and people who use pools, beaches and gyms often.

Worth knowing: Annual plans renew automatically, upfront plans are non-refundable, and leaving a 12-month pay-monthly plan early costs two months' fees. Some venues may be excluded from short-term (one- and four-month) plans. Some beach clubs set minimum spends (AED 150 to AED 250 at Surf Club Dubai), padel is capped at two games a month, and recent members of a venue may wait six months to use it through Privilee (FAQ, terms).

Viya Access

What it is: A paid access pass sold through Viya, a free UAE lifestyle rewards app powered by wasl Hospitality and Leisure.

What you get: Gym (one adult, gyms only), Solo (adds pools and beaches), Duo (two adults: "friends, partners or family") or Family (the holder, a spouse and two children under 16). Viya also lists dining, spa and retail discounts of up to 25% (Solo) or 30% (Duo and Family).

Price (checked 14 October 2026): For one, three or 12 months: Gym AED 690 / 1,390 / 4,990; Solo AED 890 / 1,790 / 5,990; Duo AED 1,340 / 2,690 / 8,990; Family AED 1,990 / 3,890 / 12,990. As listed on viyaaccess.com.

How it works: The pass appears in the Viya app within a working day, and staff scan your QR code. Passes run for 30, 90 or 365 days and are valid every day, including public holidays, though individual venues may vary.

Best for: Shorter commitments, gym-only users, and two adults sharing a Duo pass.

Worth knowing: Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable, can't be paused, and guest fees apply to anyone the pass doesn't cover. Viya's partners page covers several Viya products, so check the venues you want are on your pass (terms).

adv+

What it is: A UAE lifestyle membership for gyms, beach clubs and leisure clubs you choose (adv+'s home page says 110+ clubs across the UAE), plus dining and spa offers.

What you get: Eight clubs of your choice (six plus two at no charge) or all clubs, with one visit per club per day.

Price (checked 14 October 2026): Annual, VAT included. Single: AED 3,695 for eight clubs or AED 4,695 for all clubs. Family (two adults, up to two children aged 0 to 15): AED 6,695 or AED 7,695. As listed on advplus.ae. The site also showed an "up to 20% off" offer; it wasn't clear whether these prices include it.

How it works: You show a digital wallet card. Each club has a limited number of adv+ slots, first come, first served, and if they're full you can pay a guest fee. You pay for the year up front or in instalments through a buy-now-pay-later provider, and the membership doesn't renew automatically.

Best for: People and families who use a few specific clubs and want the lowest annual price here, without automatic renewal.

Worth knowing: Entry isn't guaranteed, and there are no refunds or freezes. On eight-club plans, changing a club after 30 days costs AED 450 per club per adult, and adv+ can exclude a club you belonged to in the past six months (terms).

The ENTERTAINER

What it is: A prepaid membership app of mostly buy-one-get-one-free offers on dining, attractions, wellness and hotels, founded in 2001.

What you get: Three core offers per merchant plus reusable bonus offers, shareable with up to three family members (a redemption by one shows on every linked account).

Price (checked 14 October 2026): ENTERTAINER UAE 2027 is AED 650 and UAE Double 2027 is AED 775, VAT included; editions that add Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Singapore cost AED 795 and AED 920. The home page offers 15 months for the price of 12. As listed on theentertainerme.com.

How it works: Tell the server you're using The ENTERTAINER before you ask for the bill; usually the merchant then enters a four-digit PIN on your phone.

Best for: Couples, families and groups who eat out or visit attractions several times a month.

Worth knowing: A 2-for-1 needs two people, groups are capped at four offers, and offers count per merchant rather than per outlet. Exclusion days include public holidays, Eid, 14 February and 24, 25 and 31 December, and refunds are only possible within 30 days if nothing has been redeemed. Its in-app rewards are also called "Smiles" but are unrelated to e&'s Smiles app (rules, terms).

Smiles (e&)

What it is: A free rewards app from e& combining food and grocery delivery, home services and dine-in vouchers, including 2-for-1s. Anyone with a mobile number that receives SMS can join, not only e& customers.

What you get: Dine-in vouchers and delivery. Smiles Unlimited adds free delivery on food orders over AED 30 and grocery orders over AED 50, 2-for-1 vouchers with no voucher fee, and deals for subscribers.

Price (checked 14 October 2026): The app is free. Smiles Unlimited is AED 29 a month, with the first 14 days at no charge for first-time subscribers; without it, dine-in vouchers normally cost AED 2 to AED 10 each. As listed on smiles.ae.

How it works: Choose a voucher in the Dine-in section, check out, and show it at the restaurant before you pay. Unlimited can be cancelled at any time.

Best for: People who already order food and groceries through Smiles.

Worth knowing: Vouchers expire two weeks after you get them unless stated otherwise, so they suit planned meals. Six months without logging in can cancel your Smiles membership (terms).

Cobone

What it is: A pay-per-deal voucher site for dining, attractions, hotel stays, tours and spas in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, running since 2010, with no membership.

What you get: Discounted vouchers, each with its own terms and expiry date. On 14 October 2026, Cobone's Dubai page listed Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo and Penguin Cove at AED 139 (Cobone's reference price: AED 199).

Price: Free to register; you pay per voucher, and Cobone says its prices include VAT where applicable.

How it works: Buy the voucher (you can't pick a date at purchase), book with the merchant where required, then show the voucher on your phone or printed.

Best for: One-off plans such as an attraction, a spa day or a brunch, paying only for what you use.

Worth knowing: Vouchers aren't refundable if they expire, your plans change or you bought by mistake; in exceptional cases Cobone may refund as store credit. A missed booking may count as redeemed (terms).

Groupon UAE

What it is: A pay-per-deal voucher site for local services, dining, things to do and travel in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, with no membership.

What you get: Reduced-price vouchers for spa and beauty, casual dining and activities. On 14 October 2026, its Dubai home page listed Sky Zone at Ibn Battuta for AED 69 (Groupon's reference price: AED 99).

Price: Free to join; you pay per voucher, and sitewide promo codes can lower the price further (Groupon was running them on 14 October 2026).

How it works: Each voucher has its own instructions. Some are redeemed online, others with the merchant, and some need a booking or appointment.

Best for: Spa, beauty and casual dining deals, and family activities.

Worth knowing: Expired vouchers can't be redeemed and are generally non-refundable, unless stated otherwise or required by law (policy).

SCNE

What it is: SCNE, which publishes this guide, is a membership app for Dubai: everyone can find events, places and things to do, and SCNE+ members get offers, discounts and more at SCNE partner venues.

What you get: Free with any account: what's on across Dubai (events, places and things to do), the SCNE concierge to plan your days and nights out, and chat, communities and meeting people. Perks for cabin crew, teachers and nurses also come with any account, where partners make them. SCNE+, a membership for partner venues in Dubai, adds money off your bill, 2-for-1s and free entry, where partners offer them.

Price (checked 14 October 2026): SCNE is free. SCNE+ is AED 199 a month.

How it works: You join SCNE+ in the app and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. It renews monthly; you can cancel at any time in the app and keep your benefits to the end of the billing period, with no refunds for part months except where the law requires them. Staff scan your member card at the venue and apply your offer.

Best for: People who want a free what's-on app for Dubai plus venue offers, and don't mind a newer, smaller partner line-up.

Worth knowing: SCNE is the newer option here: its partner line-up is early and changes over time, and the established apps above have far larger networks and longer track records. Partners decide their offers and may change or end them, so no particular venue or offer is guaranteed, and each offer shows its own terms, such as days, times and any monthly limit. SCNE+ is for one person, and SCNE works in Dubai only. SCNE is on iPhone and Android in Dubai. The full launch is in November 2026: join the waitlist at scne.ae/app and we'll email you when SCNE opens to members.

Other Memberships Worth Checking

You may already qualify for some of these, or see them mentioned:

  • Esaad (Dubai Police): a discount card for employees of organisations enrolled with the programme. Access normally comes through your employer, so ask whether you're eligible (FAQ).
  • Fazaa: benefits for employees of the Ministry of the Interior, government and semi-government entities and other listed groups, plus a 2026 Discount membership for resident families, which Gulf News reported as free for families with at least one child and valid to the end of 2026 (Fazaa).
  • eClub (e&): a lifestyle and facilities membership only for e& employees and their families, and former staff with at least 10 years' service (eClub, terms).
  • Royal Membership: an Abu Dhabi-based gym, pool and beach membership sold through authorised agents, with no published prices; its terms allow no cancellations or refunds. Unrelated websites use similar names, so use royalmembership.ae.
  • Bank cards: many UAE credit cards include dining offers or an app membership, so check yours before you pay.

How to Choose

  • Pools and beaches: Privilee and Viya Access (Solo, Duo or Family) cover gyms, pools and beaches across their networks; adv+ covers the clubs you pick, or all of them on its all-clubs plan. Networks overlap, so check the venues you'll actually use are on your plan, including any weekend minimum spends.
  • Dining 2-for-1: The ENTERTAINER if you eat out in pairs or groups several times a month; Smiles for occasional vouchers alongside delivery.
  • Events and going out: SCNE is built around what's on in Dubai, with SCNE+ adding offers at partner venues; Cobone and Groupon sell vouchers for brunches and activities. See also our guide to events apps in Dubai.
  • Families: Privilee includes up to three children; Viya Family and adv+ Family each cover two, with extra children charged; The ENTERTAINER can be shared with three family members. Resident families should also check Fazaa's 2026 Discount membership.
  • Budget: Smiles, Cobone, Groupon and SCNE are free to join; The ENTERTAINER is AED 650, adv+ starts at AED 3,695 a year, and Viya's and Privilee's one-month plans avoid a year's commitment. Divide the price by your realistic number of visits to see the cost per visit.
